For every saint saved by the blood
yearns to hear Jesus say
"Well done thou good and faithful servant"
who serve our Lord today

no substitute can be offered
other than faithfulness
trusting in God in doing good
walking by faith no less

however small the deed may be
Christ willed it to be so
by His Spirit giving power
through servants it does flow
____
like a current channeled for good
the Spirit moves at will
to glorify God the Father
these earthly deeds fulfilled
____
imagining what it shall be
when Jesus Christ is seen
faith and hope shall change to sight
forever kept redeemed
____
seeing Him smile is worth it all
the suffering one endured
with personal recognition
from Jesus mighty Lord
____
as Jesus gives His gifts to men
expecting they’ll be used
for the glory of God’s kingdom
nothing less is excused
